Ghetto motel in Miami

Our hotel in Miami was JUST LIKE the Ritz Carlton.....well maybe not.

Sunday - Embarkment

Sunday was the first day on the boat. It was beautiful in Miami. Getting on the boat took a bit, and once we got on, we all had lunch. Then the gals went for a little tour, exploring....the boys did as well.
All ten of us watched the boat leave Miami at sunset from the private balcony Josh and Laurel have at the back of the cruise ship.


Paige, Aunt Jane, Lindsay and Laurel all went to the spa just before supper for scalp/neck massages....it was heavenly!
Dinner was very good - they could not sit all of us at one table so we split up.
After dinner we went to a show, but it was really loud and kind of annoying. Josh and Laurel split and relaxed on a lounge chair on their private deck, watching the stars.

Monday in Nassau

Monday we arrived in Nassau around 7AM. It took us 45 minutes to turn the boat around to back in to the dock. It was a bit overcast.
Josh & Andy went to hit golf balls. The rest of us poked around in the shops in Nassau.
It started raining! So we headed back to the ship. Laurel/Lindsay/Paige went to the jacuzzi and then met Grammy, Aunt Jane and the boys for lunch by the pool.
At 2PM the ship left Nassau to travel for 1.5 days to St. Thomas.
We all met in a lounge at 5PM dressed in our finest. A live band was playing and drinks were on the house (or should I say ship?).

Then we moved to the dining room, enjoying LOBSTER TAIL!!!! I think everybody ordered lobster.
After dinner some of us went to a show. The five "kids" all crowded into Aunt Jane and Paige's room to watch CSI Miami and order room service.

Tuesday at Sea

We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony of Josh and Laurel this morning (bright and early at 7:30!). Here's a movie of us saying Good Morning (QuickTime works well for viewing).

Enjoyed some sun on the deck by the pool. Josh and Andrew played some ping-pong with some kids.
We all had lunch here and there in groups. After lunch, Josh and Laurel went to sun on their deck (music at the pool is REALLY loud).



Tuesday evening the first part of the show was a lousy comedian. The second half was a terrific juggler (yes, juggler), and he was funnier than the comedian! He was awesome!
